Damien Petitot’s work is clearly oriented towards experimentation and the use of corrupted techniques and technologies. His videos, pictures, texts, sounds or sculptures, are “generated” by technical devices that he uses in a random and deviated way, devices somehow “pirated”. Mistakes and accidents become the raw material of his work. Connections, connectors, wires, cables, network, loop, feedback, electricity, path, flux, rupture are basics keywords to define his work.
