metaPHN est une nouvelle cr\u00e9ation sonore semi-improvis\u00e9e \u00e9voquant le fonctionnement d\u2019un organisme cellulaire lors de la phase d\u2019histolyse (ou autophagie) au cours du processus de m\u00e9tamorphose. Perturb\u00e9 par l\u2019entr\u00e9e d\u2019une toute petite quantit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9nergie ext\u00e9rieure (quelques dixi\u00e8mes de secondes de chant liturgique m\u00e9lang\u00e9es \u00e0 des r\u00e9sidus sonores \u00e9lectroniques jou\u00e9s en temps r\u00e9el), le syst\u00e8me se ferme sur lui-m\u00eame par l\u2019action improvis\u00e9e de l\u2019interpr\u00e8te et d\u00e9bute une longue p\u00e9riode de m\u00e9tamorphose. Le signal sortant est alors r\u00e9inject\u00e9 dans le processus (feedback network) et s\u2019alt\u00e8re en se nourrissant de lui-m\u00eame tendant \u00e0 retrouver toujours, apr\u00e8s un temps plus ou moins long, un \u00e9tat d\u2019\u00e9quilibre interne d\u2019o\u00f9 se d\u00e9gage une pulsation tr\u00e8s lente qui \u00e9voque le rythme cardiaque et donne la sensation d\u2019un temps musical arr\u00eat\u00e9, infini.<\/p>\n

Nicolas Canot<\/strong> est artiste sonore, compositeur, improvisateur et enseignant install\u00e9 \u00e0 Reims. Ses recherches sonores se concentrent notamment sur les ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes de spatialisation \u201cfant\u00f4me\u201d par le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019outils informatiques destin\u00e9s aux illusions d\u2019espaces sonores. <\/p>\n

metaPHN is a new creation semi-improvised evoking the functionning of a cellular organism during the histolysis (or autophagy) phase, during the metamorphosis process disrupted by the introduction of a small amount of external energy (A few tenths of a second of liturgical music mixed with electronic sound residues played in real time). The system is self-closing due to the improvised action of the performer and starts a long metamorphosis phase. The incoming signal is reinjected into the process (feedback network) and is deteriorating by self-feeding ; looking for an inner equilibrated state from where is emerging a very slow pulsation evoking the heart beat thru a stopped and infinite musical time.<\/p>\n

Nicolas Canot<\/strong> is a sonorous artist, composer, improviser and teacher based in Reims (France). His researches are especially based on \u201cghostly\u201d spacialization phenomens implied by developping computer tools made for illusions of sonorous spaces.<\/p>\n
